Built-in speakers in other OS

  Hi, I do like the RasPad OS you have put together, however I find myself in need of using another Linux distro.

  I would like to use the speakers, change brightness and such, but am unable as of now.

  Is there a known method or package to install this capabilites in other distros?

  Brightness adjustment is a function of the screen and has nothing to do with the OS.
  In theory, as long as the new OS sets the audio output to HDMI, the sound can be played through the speakers.

  Sound works just fine with any linux os version i have tried a few and just have to make sure sound output is set to HDMI-2 and they work fine.
