How good is display compared to ipad air?

  The raspad3 and ipad air are two completely diferent animals, so can not be compared. 

  If you want an end user polished devices locked to a single ecosystem (macos) then buy an ipad air.

  If you want a developement platform with GPIO and open to any ecosystem you want then buy a raspad3.
