I have added the SSH File system (sshfs) to my Raspad to connect to my archive of Korean Pop music from the last century and play it on the Raspad using 'Audacious'. To compensate for the extreme treble content of the audio, I activated the equalizer feature of Audacious and decreased the higher frequencies (boosting the lower frequencies results in distortion) until a pleasing sound results.
A problem results when the timeout of the screensaver is achieved, the sound cuts off instead of continuing as on a normal Linux system, or my several Pi's running both the PiOS and Ubuntu-Mate (18.04, 20.04 and 20.10). I know I can disable the screensaver or set a very long timeout time, but that risks burn-in of the screen which I am not willing to do. Until this is fixed, I cannot reliably use it for a music player in the house.
