My RasPad3 is awesome. I've run many different images with it. Right now it's an Amiga! Whether just at home or on-the-go, it's been a great both tool and toy.

#6   There is a little switch next to the fan connector on the Raspad daughter board which sets the cpu fan speed from Hi to Lo. This reduces the noise somewhat.   Jay

@David Hardingham It will climp over 70 degree C very fast and if you have load it'll go over 80 and then trottle the clock rate. 

I found out the fan is set to a fixed speed. Not very silent. Is there a way to change the settings of the speed? or maybe just a different position? Everything else seems to be working fine for me

With my RasPad, the fan is on all of the time. Surely it should only be on when the CPU gets hot - which may never happen. I hard that many people have removed the fan. I will be disconnecting mine...

I have a Pi 4 setup running  Android.  It's not a Raspad though.  It's ok but not my choice for a developer platform. I actually prefer the 64 bit  version of Raspbian OS.
