Thank you. So it cannot be unplugged from the mains and then seamlessly switch over to its internal battery?
Thank you. So it cannot be unplugged from the mains and then seamlessly switch over to its internal battery?
@Dave Grimes You can directly use the mains power supply without using the battery pack. Just remove the battery interface on the mainboard and use the adapter to connect to the mains.
@RasPad Support I didn't think anything was holding up behind the screen but I took the pad apart, moved wires, put it back together, and the spot was gone. My temp hdmi cable must have out of...
I am ultra n00b to all this Pi business, but this Raspad is the best attempt I've found at making it into a tablet. But the battery aspect is my concern, can it be powered by the mains? so that it ...
Hi,I know I am late to the slogan contest, but thought I would share an idea anyway.RasPad - Where you go, Pi goes.
@George Olive Please check if something is holding up behind and squeezing to the screen? Can you send a video to the technician for confirmation?
Today I noticed there is a 5-10mm wide multicolored spot on the touchscreen. If the spot is touched, it changes size, as if there is wet spot between some layer. Anyone know what it could be? I tri...

@M.Y. Sluijter-Borms and @John Vreeland have you tested the eth link cable ( the one between pi and pcb), as i bet thats the issue and not the PCB?
I'm already on the second PCB (received one yesterday. Still no Ethernet. If I insert a cable into PI, everything works. If I use loopthrough and pcb socket, no connection. I was already provided...

@Nick Crosby @Isaac Linder The clone instruction has been modified.
@Isaac Linder @RasPad Support @CerberusStyle I seem finally to have got it to work, thank you all! Fiddling with the GPIO pins was the main fix...
@Nick Crosby Try using sudo before the git clone if you didn't. Edit: Whoops, the opposite. Try not using it if you did.
It failed on the road, so I am going to have another look at it again in my native habitat--try to eliminate some variables. Need another day to look. I need to know for sure.
Let the Raspad be your canvas. (better pic is adviced)
@RasPad Support i get a permission denied (publickey) error... when trying to clone
@CerberusStyle yes and yes. I think it is a hardware issues/ connection to GPIO pins. Tx anyway for your advice
@RasPad Support ok, will try this. But having to bend/twist GPIO pins-- not a great design of the shim if you have to mess about like this. As for pictures, I got the exact same i2cde...

@Nick Crosby It may just be that GND and VCC are connected, and the i2c interface is not attached. Please twist the pin headers outward when the Raspberry Pi is powered off, so that when the...
@Nick Crosby My issue was more my ignorance and not seeing some of the directions. Firstly, as mentioned I hadn't even installed the accelshim. Then I put it in upside down (which @CerberusSty...

Actually, I did get it working (for now). Not sure what I did. I assume a loose connection may still be at play. But works like a charm!
